Hey there, I'm Sam Said, the proud owner and operator of Dependable Moves. My journey began back in 2018, but my dedication to exceptional service runs much deeper.
After years in the automotive industry, I felt the itch for something more fulfilling. So, I took the leap and started a cleaning business in 2005. Little did I know, this venture would pave the way for Dependable Moves. As our cleaning business flourished, we noticed a recurring need for reliable moving assistance. After noticing coordination hassles during move-out cleanings, I saw an opportunity to bridge the gap and provide seamless moving experiences.
Despite the challenges, including a recession-induced layoff in 2009 and a relocation to South Carolina to support my family, I remained steadfast in my dedication to building something meaningful. In 2018, I returned to the DC metro area with a renewed focus and launched Dependable Moves to serve our community.
